What We Do
Transitional Housing
Individuals and families can experience housing instability for many reasons, including job loss, health challenges, domestic violence, substance use disorders, or other personal crises. Without a strong support system, even those who were once fully self-sufficient can find themselves facing homelessness. Transitional housing provides a vital bridge by offering safe, stable accommodations along with supportive services designed to help individuals regain stability and independence.
Our goal is to provide temporary housing in a safe and supportive environment while equipping residents with the tools, resources, and guidance needed to build a sustainable future. Through access to life skills training, education, mental health support, and other essential services, participants are empowered to work toward long-term housing stability and financial independence.
Lifting Up STL is proud to announce plans for a new transitional housing development made possible by a generous donation of a residential lot in Affton. Architectural plans will be shared soon as this exciting project moves forward.
Community Support
We are dedicated to supporting and uplifting our local community in St. Louis. We organize events that raise funds to support our various projects, ensuring we can continue making a meaningful difference. Our team also actively volunteers with other organizations, helping them meet their goals while fostering collaboration.
Additionally, we are always looking for ways to assist individuals and families in need, whether it's through direct support or connecting them to resources. Through these efforts, we strive to make a lasting positive impact on the Affton community and the greater St. Louis area.
