Steve Young Receives 2026 Lindbergh Leader Award

We are proud to share that Steve Young, President of Lifting Up STL, was presented with the 2026 Lindbergh Leader Award, the highest honor awarded by the Lindbergh Schools.
Each year, the Lindbergh Schools Foundation recognizes individuals who generously give their time, resources, and talents to make Lindbergh an exceptional school district and an outstanding place to raise and educate children. Leaders are nominated by fellow community members in recognition of their leadership and service both within Lindbergh Schools and throughout the broader community.
Representatives from the Lindbergh Schools Foundation surprised Steve at the Lifting Up STL office with the award and captured the special moment with photos. It was a meaningful and well-deserved recognition.
The Lindbergh Leader Award honors individuals who:
Demonstrate a long-term commitment to Lindbergh Schools
Exhibit consistent leadership and excellence
Provide extraordinary service to the Lindbergh community
Motivate and inspire others as positive role models
Actively support the district through participation and engagement
Go far beyond what is expected in their role
Eligible recipients include citizens and volunteers, teachers, administrators, support staff, alumni, and retired employees who serve Lindbergh students and the community.
Steve’s leadership at Lifting Up STL and his dedication to strengthening our community embody the very spirit of this award. We are grateful for his service and proud to celebrate this incredible honor.
