If you don’t have a strong support system or mentors who can guide you, it is easy to have missteps that create more obstacles. For those who haven’t had positive examples and role models in their lives, Lifting Up STL is here to provide education and guidance.

Financial lessons go well beyond credit and budgeting and cover more complicated topics. Participants will learn the basics of what it takes to open and manage a bank account, how and when to file tax returns, where to find affordable car and health insurance, and much more. Basic life skills will help people stabilize their finances, learn better spending habits, and set themselves up for success. In addition, students will have the opportunity to ask questions from experienced mentors and connect with valuable resources.

Our program will help you prepare for the interview. We will discuss everything from what you should wear and body language to reading social cues and improving social and emotional intelligence. You can also participate in mock interviews so that you can practice answering questions and how you present yourself.

For those already in the workforce, our programs can help you feel more fulfilled at work. This can range from improving interpersonal skills and resolving conflict to working towards earning a promotion and learning leadership skills.
